No more peak surcharges, but storage costs for CC materials.26 March 2020
Usually Royal FloraHolland deploys so-called peak surcharges during the busy springtime season, in order to increase the availability and rotations of auction trolleys. In the peak period, it is also possible to store CC material in our depots free of charge. Due to the current situation, there is no peak period, and the peak surcharges have been cancelled. We will, however, continue to charge the storage costs.
We have decided to cancel the peak surcharges for lock plates, CC containers and shelves as of 1 April. The storage costs for CC material will apply as of 6 April 2020.
Peak surcharge for lock plates cancelled
The peak surcharge for lock plates with a lease for a day, month, quarter or 6-month period is now cancelled and will not be charged from 1 April until 8 June 2020. This also applies to transporters in the Collective Transport Arrangement. If the peak surcharge has been paid in advance, the amount will be credited to you.
No peak surcharge for renting CC containers and CC shelves
The peak surcharge for renting CC material will be cancelled as of 1 April. The handling and transfer costs for CC material apply year round and will not be altered.
Storage costs CC material applicable again
There are usually no storage costs for CC containers and shelves during the peak period. This is done in order to increase the availability of CC material during the peak period. As there is currently no peak period, the storage costs will apply again as of 6 April. This will give you some time to pick up your CC material at our locations, if needed.
