"In order to be successful together, one must understand everyone's interests and structures and view and discuss these from all angles. This is why a Members' Council is useful, so there is a link between producer and marketer to find solutions together.
As I grew up in the world of horticulture and am now running the company, I got to know various sales channels and systems over time, so I am a good addition to the Members' Council with my knowledge. I would like to use my previous experiences in horticulture and as a business economist to work together with other members on the solutions and strategies of Royal FloraHolland and auction Rhein-Maas in the interest of the future of horticulture."

"I find this cooperative a good instrument for achieving something together, even if it is not self-evident that everyone joins the cooperative in this day and age. I want to dedicate myself to keep members involved in the cooperative, now and in the future.
In my own company I focus a lot on innovation. I want to help make more space to grow in this cooperative. We could support product niches and new services better. The small products deserve more attention at the auction, as these are very important for the whole.
It seems like a nice challenge to prepare the cooperative for the future in accordance with policy. I enjoy following processes, adjusting them and thus contributing to the bigger picture. Collaborating with other entrepreneurs and learning from their knowledge and experience also appeals to me."

"In order to grow together it's important to use all types of knowledge at Royal FloraHolland. If we want to comprehend the entirety of our company we must first view all aspects of it. By properly coordinating our individual specialisations we can change more efficiently and long-term.
My background isn't typical of a horticulturalist: I studied Management Accounting and German Taxation. In addition, I have been active as a volunteer my whole life. I have now been working for our family business since 2011 and have learned a lot about all the aspects of Royal FloraHolland.
I want to turn our business into a globally competing platform that can take up and defend a position of market leader both online and offline. This requires a special focus on the future development of the auction Rhein-Maas."
